Our History
The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) began as a frontier church with a collection of people who wanted a more down-to-earth, practical religion. The kind of religion which would help them cope with the difficulties of frontier life. They believed they could Interpret the Bible for themselves and build faith on reason. Even with the changing of time, we still hold on to those beliefs.
Our Church family is composed of Christians who come from many different backgrounds, who believed they should have the right to worship God according to their own understanding.
We invite you to come and share our adventure of faith. There is a place for you here at First Christian.
